Reasons “The Office” Is Fucking DOPE!

February 24, 2018 | by kisses

Happy Saturday Lovers and Friends Shock to see a post?!?!( I know me too!) but I just shed some tears for one of my new fave shows and I had to immediately come and top you guys off! We all love Netflix and what a perfect way to spend your Saturday (specially if its Musky like today) than binge watching an old tv show! Well I had this itch a couple of months ago and FINALLY decided to check out “The Office”

Now I’ve heard people talk about the Office for YEARS but never thought to check it out until I had finally ran out of shows to watch, I said might as well, months later of clearing out all 9 seasons I feel like such a LAME for not being on the bandwagon. The show made me fall so in love with these characters I legit cried when It was FINALLY over. So Now that imma MEGA fan, I decided to share the info on WHY YOU SHOULD BE BE WATCHING “THE OFFICE” ON NETFLIX!!

The Show is based in Scranton PA and its about a group of people who work in a Paper Company who have been chosen to be filmed for a documentary. With the Leadership role belonging to Michael Scott, this is noting like your average Office Job….

1.The Episodes are usually only 20 mins And you can Randomly Dive into them

Easy way to fly thru a series on Netflix make the episodes short, The Office gives you Just enough where you cannot wait for the other episodes to begin! Granted its best to watch the Episodes in order (You can catch the side stories better) But all in all watching episode 10 before 6 will NOT ruin the show at all!  (I love shows like this)

2.  Micheal Scott Is The World’s Best Boss

Working for anyone is a BITCH but Michael Scott made paper Fun! If I’m not mistaken this role Launched Steve Carrel’s Career and I must say, I didnt really enjoy him as a character as much (he turns a bit annoying) but watching him as Michael Scott I GET IT… I TOTALLY GET IT! Not only is Michael Hilarious, random, a bit ignorant, and sort of an asshole, hes also caring Loving and Loyal to his staff and his company!

3. They Showcased Normal People

With so many shows with glamorous flawless looking teenagers and adults floating around everywhere, The office felt like anyone’s everyday job. They all had problems we knew to well and everyone was relatable in their own way! The show did a really good job by keeping our favorite coworkers “normal” and easy to enjoy. Everyone had their “thing” and it held true for all 9 seasons!

4. They Gave us The Best Work Romance EVER… Jim and Pam

Omg So season one we learn that Salesman Jim Halpert has a crush on the Receptionist and his work bestie Pam Beasley but shes engaged to the warehouse worker. Episode after episode we watch as they play pranks Joke around and Jim Pine over Pam but IT NEVER HAPPENS. Jim FINALLY tells her his feelings and she doesn’t feel the same (the pain) We watched their relationship go from friends, to coworkers, to friends again, Lovers MARRIED! probably one of the greatest love stories on tv (IDC IDC IDC) They married their bestfriend (awwww). We can all agree that Jim and Pam Halpert was the best thing to ever happen thanks to Dunder Mifflin.

5. Dwight Schrute

No character is as lovably awful as this guy right here. Not only was he Micheal’s “Assistant to The Regional Manager”  but also the BUTT of Jim’s Pranks. He was definitely Odd  and smart and HILARIOUS and Resourceful. Dwight Schrute was not one melody he was the WHOLE ORCHESTRA!

6. Jim Pranks

Jim is probably my favorite television character ever. He’s handsome, funny, lovable and he’s got a great smile! He’s the trickster who is also one of the most romantic people on the planet (just ask Pam), and we can’t help but love everything about him. His Pranks on Dwight and Michael were legendary and hilarious  and his Love for Pam was what anyone woman would want! We watch him grow from a young salesman to a Father Husband and eventually found a Career he loved!

7. The Side Stories

Tho it was very clear who were the STARS of The office, their fellow coworkers were not to be upstaged. The side stories that happened intertwined everyone was effortless. Each character had a life that we knew about, the writers really made it feel like you worked their as well! And how they merged the conversations into future episodes was like little easter eggs which was super fun to find!

8. A lot of Stars came from this Show

Ed Helms, Mindy Kaling, Ellie Kemper, Craig Robinson, Steve Carell, John Krasinski, B.J Novak and many others became a household name after starring in the show. This was huge contributor to the growth of Ed Helms who went on to do “The Hangover” and Mindy Kaling’s got her her own Show! WOAH Guest stars were also a big thing From Will Ferell  and Kathy Bates to  Idris Elba and Jack Black!

9. “Jim and Pam’s Note”

We learn pretty much everything about Pam and Jim’s relationship from the documentary but theirs this one special scene where Jim gives Pam a teapot for christmas. Inside the pot were a bunch of things she loved and a note (Jim steals back last minute and finally give its to her on the shows Finale) Pam  Feels shes not enough for Jim which baffles him he makes this beautiful video of their best moments and finally hands her the note telling her “Everything you would ever need to know is in this note” BUT WE NEVER GET TO SEE IT!!!  The writers made a decision  to not tell us and to keep that one piece of their lives private, leaving the contents of the letter up to our own imagination. That note is still on my mind like BOY what was in it?!?!? It just makes the show seems so real when clearly its not!

10. One of a Kind

With its unique, mockumentary style of film making, and its quirky characters, “The Office” is a show that will be remembered for all-time. Each person is able to connect with a character in some way, and once you watch the entire show once through, you can’t help but keep going back to them. It’s funny, satirical and it offers a unique take on television as we know it.

I swear if I worked at Dunder Mifflin i would be one happy chick  It was nice feeling like i was there for 9 seasons, im still crying that its finally OVER!!!!
